Planning Commission

The Village of Lewisburg Planning Commission is responsible for guiding the orderly growth and development of the Village of Lewisburg. The Planning Commission is also responsible for advising the Village Council, Municipal Manager, and Village Departments regarding broad planning goals, policies, and plans for the development of the Village of Lewisburg. Specific duties imposed by the Village Charter include an annual review of both the Village of Lewisburg Comprehensive Master Plan and all Community and Economic Development Incentives.

The Planning Commission was created by the Village of Lewisburg Charter and consists of the Mayor, one member of the Village Council appointed annually, and five community members each serving staggered, three-year appointments.

Currently, the Planning Commission meets three times during the calendar year, and as necessary to conduct business on behalf of the Village.
